Frequently Asked Questions:
What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture—the idea is to invest in your community farm early in the season to support the farm’s cash flow and buffer the unpredictable nature of farming. In return, the farm grows and distributes the season’s worth of vegetables to their members to the best of their ability. We also call them memberships, shares, or clubs.
Why should I purchase a membership?
1. You are a foodie: our freshest most diverse offerings go to our members! Want to up your vegetable intake? Joining a CSA is a great way to commit to using more fresh and healthy food.
2. You value community: Memberships are the heart of our operation, early season investments from our members help us get a good start to our season. Gathering around good food is the pulse of a community.
3. You value simplicity: Pay once, enjoy months of just showing up for good food. We offer buffet style by the pound on the farm or pick what you want from our farmers market stalls.

Common holdups people have with joining a CSA:
The CSA is: too much food for me…..too expensive…I’m not used to cooking with so many vegetables…
We do our best to address these concerns by formatting our memberships with a lot of flexibility. We offer a range of share size options, each with a suggested poundage per week, and have introduced a sliding scale payment model so that people may pay as they are able. We try to provide recipes weekly to our members, though there is often a learning curve when you are new to a CSA! It gets easier the longer you are a member, talking to other members at pickup is a great way to form a community around food and get great recipe ideas.
Are you a u-pick farm?
We offer a u-pick Flower CSA where members can pick 25 stems weekly for 9 weeks. Otherwise, we do not have u pick options.
How does the farm stand work?
March-December our farm stand is self-serve, credit cards only, with variable open hours. We stock our vegetables and other locally produced products.
Can I come walk around?
Except for our farm stand, our working farm spaces are closed to the public. CSA members are welcome to explore during CSA pickup times. We also host many farm events over the season. The best way to stay in the loop about tours and volunteer opportunities is by joining our newsletter (bottom of the home page).
What makes your farm unique?
We are one of the largest certified organic and regenerative farms in our area, known for our high-quality produce. We are a group of young (mostly women) farmers working collaboratively to change the model of food production towards sustainability.
