**Note to potential beef share buyers: Our beef shares are currently available on a rolling basis. When an animal is fully purchased is when we will plan to schedule their slaughter date, and it will be a couple weeks after that when your beef will be ready to pick up. It is possible this process could take a couple months, depending on demand and how long it takes to sell each animal, but we will be sure to be in contact with you during this process to keep you updated on the status of your share. By purchasing a beef share from our farm, you are making a commitment to consuming high quality, pasture-raised meat. Our cows are raised on our farm, rotationally grazed on pasture during the growing season and fed hay we grow and store during the winter. We treat them with respect, and honor them as an important part of our farm.

Now, with the partnership of local butcher Damian Rivera, we offer on-farm animal processing to our share members, providing the most humane and low-stress processing option for these animals, which we take such care in raising.

~Beef shares includes a variety of cuts, including (but not limited to) steaks, roasts, ground beef, and soup bones.

~Beef shares will be frozen and available for pick-up as soon as we finish processing the animal.

~Customers will be contacted to coordinate their pick-up from the farm around the time of our estimated pick up dates.

~Estimated amounts of meat included in each share size (varies by animal):

• 1/4 animal share: 100-135 pounds of various cuts

• 1/2 animal share: 225-275 pounds of various cuts

• Whole animal share:  450-550 pounds of various cuts
