Summer CSA (medium) 2025

Summer CSA (medium) 2025

from $234.50

We offer multiple share sizes at a sliding scale cost for our vegetable CSAs! This medium share size is suggested for households of 2-4 people, which for Summer CSA is around 6-7.5 pounds of produce (plus bonus items) per week during this nine-week CSA session.

How does the sliding scale work? In an effort to make our food more accessible to all members of our community, we offer three price points for each of our veggie CSA offerings.

Consider paying more when you:

  1. Earn above the Ann Arbor median household income of $73K or per capita income of $48K

  2. Own your home

  3. Have retirement accounts, investments, or inherited money

  4. Have access to family money and resources in times of need

  5. If you hold white privilege

Consider paying less when you:

  1. Earn below the Ann Arbor median household income of $73K or per capita income of $48K

  2. Are supporting children, other dependents, or sending remittances

  3. Have significant debt

  4. Have medical expenses not covered by insurance

  5. Have a fixed income or receive public assistance

  6. Identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color)

Membership description

9-week session: July 9th- September 6th 2025

Summer is the best time to eat in Michigan! We grow a huge diversity of crops during these months including tomatoes, herbs, lettuce, greens, carrots, beets, peppers, zucchini, and so much more!

This year you can reference our “suggested poundage” according to the share size purchased in order to decide how much food to bring home each week. This suggested poundage is based on our experience with how much produce our members go through each week before feeling like it is too much or too little food, but this suggestion is just to act as a guide and if you feel like you need more or less during a given week you are welcome to adjust accordingly. “Bonus items” that don’t count toward this suggested poundage will also be available each week.

Certain summer fruits such as green beans and cherry tomatoes, which can be a challenge to harvest in more bountiful amounts, may be offered to our CSA in limited quantities to ensure everyone receives a share (i.e. a limit of 1 pint of cherry tomatoes/week).

A CSA newsletter will be sent out to members at the beginning of each week during the session, letting them know what our weekly offerings are as well as any other farm-related news.

An additional benefit of this CSA is a 10% discount at our farmstand during the membership session.
